Patient FAQ
If you're new to QuantifyRx — start here.
Specialty medications can feel like a maze. The point of this section is to make sure you never feel like a number, an account, or a queue. If you have a question that's not here, call (888) 536-9963 or email pharmacy@quantifysc.com — a pharmacist will answer.
What is QuantifyRx?
QuantifyRx is the URAC-accredited pharmacy arm of Quantify Specialty Care (QSC). We dispense, ship, and clinically support high-cost specialty medications — infusions, injections, and oral biologics — for members of self-funded employer health plans that have chosen QSC as their specialty partner. Legally we are UrgentMedRx, LLC doing business as QuantifyRx.
How did QuantifyRx get my prescription?
Either your prescriber sent it directly (e-Rx, fax, or phone), or your employer health plan routed your specialty medication to us because Quantify Specialty Care is your plan's specialty partner. If you're not sure, call us — we'll explain exactly what happened and confirm your benefit before you're charged anything.
How do I refill my medication?
Three ways: call (888) 536-9963 and ask for your named pharmacist, email pharmacy@quantifysc.com, or use the Patient Portal. We don't auto-ship without confirming you're ready — a clinician calls before your next refill so we never deliver medication you can't take or don't need.
How do I transfer my prescription from another pharmacy?
Call us. We do the paperwork. We contact your current pharmacy, request the transfer, work the prior authorization with your plan, and confirm everything with your prescriber. You don't lift a finger and there's no gap in your therapy.
What does it cost me?
Cost share depends on your plan. Our team works manufacturer copay programs, foundation grants, and patient-assistance resources on every member's behalf to bring out-of-pocket as close to $0 as the plan allows. On HDHP/HSA plans the IRS-minimum deductible must be met first, then we negotiate every option available. You will never be surprised by a bill — we walk you through the exact cost before we ship.
How is my medication shipped — especially if it has to stay cold?
Most specialty medications ship cold-chain in our Ember Cube containers — actively-refrigerated, GPS-tracked, temperature- and humidity-monitored from our pharmacy bench to your door. You don't sign for special deliveries, don't open a foam cooler hoping ice packs held up, and don't deal with dry ice. When you're done, set the empty Ember Cube back on the porch for FedEx pickup — we handle the return logistics.
Who do I call if I have a side effect or a problem?
Your named QSC clinician, any time. (888) 536-9963 routes 24/7 to the on-call nurse. For anaphylaxis-risk medications, an anaphylaxis-trained RN is part of your care plan from day one.
Provider FAQ
What prescribing clinics need to know.
QuantifyRx is the specialty pharmacy your patients reach when their self-funded employer plan routes them to Quantify Specialty Care. Here is how that works in practice. If your team needs a clinical contact, call (888) 536-9963 and ask for the on-call pharmacist or email pharmacy@quantifysc.com.
Who can send prescriptions to QuantifyRx?
Any licensed prescriber whose patient is a member of a self-funded employer plan that uses Quantify Specialty Care as its specialty partner. If you're unsure whether a specific patient's plan routes here, call us first — we'll confirm the benefit in one phone call.
How do I send a script?
E-Rx to NCPDP 3679382 (QuantifyRx). Clinical line: (888) 536-9963. Email: pharmacy@quantifysc.com. You'll hear back from a real pharmacist, not an intake rep or auto-acknowledgment.
Do you work fully-insured commercial plans or Medicare?
No. QuantifyRx serves patients on self-funded employer health plans where the plan sponsor has chosen QSC as the specialty partner. We are not in network with fully-insured commercial plans or Medicare. If the patient's plan isn't a fit, we'll tell you on the first call and help you route the script appropriately.
Who works the prior auth?
We do. We chase the payer, file the appeal, and stay on it through approval. Your clinic gets a single clean status update, not a fax loop. Median resolution under 72 hours on standard PAs; expedited within 24 when clinically required.
What do you send back to my clinic?
A named RN handles weekly nurse-to-nurse coordination with your clinic. Monthly clinical updates: adherence trend, vitals from connected devices, side effects flagged by the bedside RN, REMS-relevant safety events, and notes from every patient touchpoint. Available in your EMR's preferred direct-messaging format on request.
How fast is first fill?
Clean Rx + approved PA → medication in the patient's home within 24 hours. Cold chain shipped in Ember Cube with real-time monitoring. A bedside RN is scheduled before the medication arrives.
What about REMS-required therapies?
REMS-Plus is our standard operating model, not an exception. Anaphylaxis-trained RNs at every dose, standardized epinephrine kits, documented patient and caregiver education, REMS-compliant dispensing, and per-dose physiology logged by the Command Center. We are actively requesting LDD-network inclusion with manufacturers whose therapies our patients already need.
Manufacturer FAQ
Questions from manufacturer access teams.
Direct answers to the questions LDD review committees ask before scheduling a formal evaluation. For the full clinical capabilities packet, see the For Manufacturers page or email liane@quantifysc.com.
Who is the legal entity behind QuantifyRx?
UrgentMedRx, LLC, doing business as QuantifyRx. URAC pharmacy accreditation MSP010001 and all state pharmacy licensure are held in the legal name UrgentMedRx, LLC. QuantifyRx is the trade name and a wholly-owned subsidiary brand of Quantify Specialty Care.
What therapeutic categories does QuantifyRx serve today?
Specialty infusion (buy-and-bill and home infusion), buy-and-bill injectables, REMS-required biologics, oral specialty oncology, and rare-disease therapies routed to the self-funded plans Quantify Specialty Care supports. The pharmacy operates inside QSC's Virtual Hospital Model — 24/7 Command Center, 1:1 bedside RNs, continuous physiologic monitoring — which makes us a fit for high-touch, high-risk therapies that traditional dispense-and-ship pharmacies aren't built for.
What is your patient population?
Members of self-funded employer health plans nationwide. We are not in network with fully-insured commercial plans or Medicare. Our plan-sponsor footprint includes large public-sector employer plans, national retail employers, captives, and multi-employer trusts. Combined book represents a sample of $88.9M+ in annual savings against incumbent specialty networks across 130+ self-funded clients of QSC.
What clinical infrastructure supports dispensing?
Every QuantifyRx fill is wrapped in QSC's Virtual Hospital Model: a 24/7 Virtual Command Center with continuous RN oversight, 1:1 bedside RN in the home, continuous physiologic monitoring via cellular IV pumps, wearable smart patches, and cellular-connected home vitals. Anaphylaxis-trained RNs and standardized epinephrine kits on every high-risk infusion. SDOH coordination by a dedicated Resource Coordinator team.
What data can manufacturer partners receive?
Patient-level monthly outcomes with full traceability: adherence (PDC), persistence, time-on-therapy, abandonment, baseline drift, AE/ER avoidance, REMS-relevant safety events, and SDOH interventions. Schema is yours. Cadence is monthly. Available under data partnership agreement.
How does cold chain work?
All temperature-sensitive biologics ship in Ember Cube active-refrigerated containers. 2–8°C maintained continuously for 72+ hours, onboard refrigeration (no dry ice), real-time GPS, continuous temperature and humidity logging. Every shipment generates a manufacturer-readable chain-of-custody log — temperature curve, humidity curve, GPS trace, delivery confirmation — available monthly.
What are you requesting from manufacturers?
A formal, criteria-based evaluation for inclusion in your limited-distribution or REMS-certified specialty network — reviewed against the same standards you apply to any candidate organization. Specifically: written network qualification criteria, a formal evaluation meeting, a defined decision timeline, a named reviewer of record, and acknowledgment that our self-funded plan clients will be informed of the evaluation status. Not a form-letter exchange.
Who is the contact for network evaluation requests?
Liane Parker, RN, CPHM — Co-Founder & Chief Clinical Operating Officer, Quantify Specialty Care. Email: liane@quantifysc.com. The capabilities packet (PDF) is downloadable from the For Manufacturers page.
